[ICOM] Output power of my 706

Hi Mike,

My station runs entirely on solar power and batteries, and has for
years.  My batteries never drop that low.  They usually stay at
13.1VDC.

If Steve's battery voltage is dropping that low then he is probably
exceeding the recommended / maximum discharge rate for his
battery(ies), or in other words, it's undersized for the job at hand.

I run an Icom IC725, 100w HF rig on 2 12v 110aH batteries in parallel.
 The rig pulls 1a in receive and 20a in transmit.
