Steve,

You'll be lucky to exceed 12.2 volts under load from your battery.
Lead-acid batteries can be charged to 13.X volts, even floated as high as
14.4, but when asked to deliver a high-current load they drop to under 12.5
almost immediately.

If you can supply full voltage from your Astron power supply, your problem
will disappear.

No such luck! Turning the power down! I suspicion it is the battery. It is
just not holding 13.5 volts.I have a Astron Power Supply on the work table
in need of repair!
