[ICOM] Sick IC706MK2G Reciever

I think the receiver in my 706MK2G is sick.

About a month ago I started to notice 2 local AM radio stations appearing in
various sections of 80/75. Connecting my other Rig to the same antenna I do
not hear AM stations. They are really messing up doing anything on 80. Today
I was copying a station up in VE land on 14.200 who was 40 over. I switched
to 10.119 and I am hearing him again not as strong as on 20 but he was
there. I kept switching back and forth between the 2 bands and it was him,
For some reason the 706 is hearing him all over the place. I am also hearing
faint AM radio signals on 30 meters also. I have no idea what would have
happened to cause this but it did start about a month ago..

 

Does anyone know what would be causing this and is it an easy fix???
