Hi to all on the reflector  and Thanks to all who replied to my query a couple of weeks back.

I was away for a few days and did not get the chance to send a message to the reflector.

The radio is now sorted out and with some lubrication the radio now tunes perfectly and the tuning wheel moves much more 

freely and there is no stiffness anymore. Thankfully the problem was sorted. May I say A  Big Thanks  to all who replied to my query.

Also a Big Thank You to my true friend Jim who is a genius with his hands and sorted all this out for me .
