Hello all,

Certainly not the case,  I had the internal fuse blow in my 706Mk2G which I
replaced and all is fine again.  It is a good idea to have some spares as
they do blow sometimes!!  I wouldn't go sending the thing back to Icom just
to get a fuse replaced!

 Should the time come to replace one more will be needed to be done to your
radio than just replace a fuse. Let the techs worry about it. I am sure that
it is protecting something important and if it goes the repairs will most
likely be beyond yours or my abililty to repair.
