Folks,
Problem fixed, well, it never was a problem! The 703's band edges are
way outside the US amateur band limits:
160 1.8-2.0
80 3.4-4.1
40 6.9-7.5
30 9.9-10.5
20 13.9-14.5
17 17.9-18.5
15 20.9-21.5
12 24.4-25.1
10 28-30
Exceed those limits--BEEP! :-) (BTW these limits apply to the 706 as
well)
What's amazing to me is how many people wrote telling me that's how the
rig worked after making various mods such as the 60m or mars mod.... I
made no such mods. As stated in original message, I only made the
keyjack mod, and added a filter (CW filter, is there any other kind? :-)
