Hi Rod,

I have an IC-706 MkII-G that has only seen mobile SSB service to date. I'm
now using it mostly on 6m in the home shack and want to equip it for
portable CW HF operations as well. Which CW filter have you installed in
your 703 and how well does it work? Do you know whether the same filters fit
in both the 703 and 706?

By the way, I have been using my K2 for QRP CW contesting, mostly on 160m.
It handles the big contest stations that are sprinkled around the SE Denver
area with ease while the FT-1000mp and even my IC-765  have serious IMD
problems under these conditions. I'm curious to see what happens with the
706. I assume it will get crunched, too, but I'd like to give it a try.
