[ICOM] Icom 718 and Computer

John, I would not go there YET.
I'd like to get a detailed picture of the whole setup.
What kind of internet connection are you using?
modem(dial-up),cable,DSL?
If you are using an external modem (cable or DSL) can
you move the modem farther from the radio (to a
different phone jack or a different cable connection)
and get a longer cat-5 cable to connect the computer
to it?
Are there other computers connected to your system? If
so, do they get kicked off the internet also?
Indeed, if you unplug the 1/8 - does the problem goes
away? In other words, we are sure it isn't RF?
Is the problem power dependant? If you turn down the
RF output does it still kick you off?
What brand/type of interface are you using?
