Hello Earl,
Thanks for the interesting/appreciated information on your comparisons!
It is very striking to see that there are big differences in yours and the
one from Sherwood Engineering:

E.g. the TenTec Orion in their comparison is the number One, while in your
comparison the Orion is the number Last.
What would be the reason of this very big difference?
Not talking about other significant differences while reading both tests.
Perhaps your comparison is driven from practice, while the one from Sherwood
is from the Laboratory side?
Could there have been differences between 'two of the same type'
transceivers? In that way: would it be advisable to re-align all the rigs,
according to the instructions in the Service Manual, before making
comparisons like that from Sherwood?
Just my thoughts...
