sounds like PLL trimmer caps to me. Lots of time you will notice the
trouble on one band at first even though the trimmer cap is utilized for
several bands.
replace them all with the ceramic types , align and it should clear up.

Need your advise please with my IC751A on 10m (other bands are normal).
>Generally, audio quality (TX & RX) suffers some distortion (it isn't clean
>and not as pleasant as on the other bands).
>The major findings \ symptoms:
>1. Power output on 10 is lower than all other bands by 25-40 percent.
>2. There exists some disturbance on the signal - both CW & SSB. In TX, some
>reports were "an ac(100HZ?) buzz
> or FM" in CW, or "a bit garbled" or "slightly distorted" or "husky or
>hoarse" in SSB.
>3. In Rx SSB , I note the audio to be not clean, indeed husky & slightly
>distorted as if "one needs to clear his throat".
> In cw I can't get a clean note or tone - always sounds like there are
>some harmonics on the tone.
>
>All in all, this is only on 10m.

>Any ideas ? everything is welcome...
