[ICOM] Filter recommendations

John,

The pass band tuning will probably work better with both filters being the 
same bandwidth. May not function correctly in CW mode with filters of 
different bandwidths.
Also the overall shape of the received signal should be better having both 
filters the same bandwidth but I am sure its not noticeable with the ear.
However, most of us don't care so long as we can get rid of nearby signals. 
Installing a 250 Hz along with your 500 Hz will give you two options.
either way works fine.

I would suspect the FL52 or 53 will not fit, really the case closure is the 
trouble. Others here may have one of those laying about to try or the 
height of the filter so you could measure it up.
