[ICOM] Filter recommendations

In addition to the 756 I recently bought, I just
picked up the FL100 500hz CW filter for the 9mhz IF. 
I would also like to get a CW filter for the 455khz
IF.  Which would be the better filter to get, the
500hz, so both IFs match, or the 250hz, to get the
narrower bandwidth?

Also, will a FL52 or FL53 (non A) fit in the 756?  I
understand that these filters are a little taller than
the A model and will not fit in a 751A
