[ICOM] difference between 746pro and 756pro2

What are the major differences between these two rigs?
I know the 746pro has 2m/6m and less dsp filters, but I'm wondering why 
there is a 1000 dollar difference between them. You would think the 746pro 
[for 2g's canadian] would the big bang for the buck, and the 756pro2 is 
3g's.
