Having had both, I believe the major difference to be the 756PROII's
color LCD plus the real-time spectrum scope. Not only is the color
display more expensive to build but ICOM can command a higher price on
this rig because of this feature. Being able to see 200hz of a band,
zoom in on 25khz of it, lock the display and tune in on the blip with
good accuracy is a wonderful feature thus the $1,000 difference.
