[ICOM] IC-208H

A while back I purchased a IC-208H. After stumbling around with it's
programming for about a year I'm about ready to give up and go back to my
old 144/440 mobile rig.
Call me slight of mind but I can't figure out how to program this darn
thing. The book is confusing.
Does anyone have a tip on how to proceed with programming this thing. All I
want to do is program 15 repeater frequencies into it. The Icom guy at the
Orlando Hamfest said this radio has "banks" and one must program the banks.
Anyone have a shortcut or suggestions?
