Hi George
I have the 208H also and found it difficult to program.
Ended up buying the software and cable.
Makes it much simpler to program.
I highly recomment it.

Oh BTW....If you use the remote feature dont buy the expensive mic
extension.
A cat5 cable and union connector work just fine and for a fraction of the
cost.
