[ICOM] Icom765 transmit problems

Does it tx when using the manual switch? If so try twisting the mic plug one
way or the other. The connections on the mic jack are made with a ribbon
cable and could have a bad solder joint. Mine is like that. Plan of fixing

My Icom 765 will not transmit.  I had not been on the air for several months
and when I tuned up the rig everything seemed to be performing normally.
Suddenly, the radio would not transmit although the receive was fine.  No
matter what band or mode I try the red transmit light does not light and the
rig will not transmit at all. Does anyone have any ideas ?
