No trickery, no gimmickery...it's in the manual...details in pages 31 and 32

Connect paddle or key in jack on the back of the rig (can also use mic up/down buttons)

Go to the SET mode (there are two modes for getting into the menus SET and QUICK SET...pages 31 and 32 explain how to get there).

Go to menu item for KEY TYPE

Select "n" for normal, "r" for reverse, "oF" for off (turns off keyer) or "ud" for up/down buttons on the mic.

Select CW with the MODE button

Set CW BREAK-IN as "semi", "full" or "off") vis the QUICK SET menu (Push the SET button for 1 sec)

Set CW DELAY TIME via the QUICK SET menu

Set CW PITCH via the SET menu

Although this appears rather "involved" it is quite straight forward ... However, at 100 I too would need assistance setting this up (among other things).
