[ICOM] re: CW on ICOM 718

I don't have my 718 any more, but one other thing you
might check is the mode setting in the INITIAL SET
MENU. You actually have to make sure each mode you
wish to operate in (CW, SSB, RTTY, AM) is switched ON.
This tripped me up when I first bought it and I
couldn't figure out why I couldn't transmit.  You
should find how to do this in the manual under INITIAL
SET menus. 

Even a "simple" radio like the 718 still has plenty of
ways to trip up a "youngster" like me (age 44).
