[Icom] New Question and Thanks

Next question...Can anyone recommend an alternative to the Icom CT-17
computer-to-radio interface?  I have located the N4VAS product on eham.net
and was wondering if this group had any experience with it  or could suggest
an alternative.  Your comments are most welcome.  Thanks!!  Jim N4XWA

Jim, I suggest you take a look at http://www.g3vfp.org/interface1.html
For the price less then original CT-17 you get not only CI-V, which is opto
isolated from the computer but also PTT and keying interface and  audio
interface for all the digi modes. Virtually this is a combination of CT-17
and Rig-Blaster compleatly opto isolated so you do not have to worry about
things like ground loops and RFI.
