Each state and its taxes is separate. I'm basing this on having travelled=20
in a lot of states. If you buy while in a state, this can vary. I bought my=

IC-765 in Seattle while visiting but living in Phoenix. I did NOT have to=20
pay the Washington state tax if.... I could not take possession of the rig=
=20
but had to have it shipped to Phoenix. You need to investigate the laws of=
=20
the state where you might be when buying a radio.
