Thhis part I would like to investigate a bit further.

In Canada, if you buy in another province you do not pay ypur own provinces
sales tax, unless the outlet you purchased from has an outlet in your
province. But, you are suppose to send in the tax to your provincial tax
collector. (That is why they formed Canada Custom and Revenue Agency, in
the future CCRA is gonna collect everything.) Now if you are travelling to
another province and pay their tax on some item and leave it. Your are
entilled to a refund. Many airports have the info (at least it was that
way awhile ago.) This works well for USA citizens visiting Canada. (Make
sure you keep the sales slipes and obtain the info to apply for your refund
of taxes.

All that leads up to the question, is something similar availabe in the
USA? If I buy and leave the State and the USA can I obtain a refund of the
taxes? (This was available in many of the European countries, buy, have
them ship it home for less than what it cost there.)
