The 7400 is the non-US version of the 746PRO. As far as I know they are
essentially the same radio although the 2-meter coverage may be different
for different countries. The 746 was a conventional crystal filter IF radio.
The 746PRO is an IF-DSP radio with very nearly the same performance as the
756PRO2.
