The FT857 also had terrible receive numbers, but QST
kind of sidestepped that. Of course the FT100D has
better receive numbers than the "Brand Y" 706MKIIG,
and a better NB also. QST even cited the NB for
special praise, and it works as they state. That can
be pretty important for mobile operations.
