hey Matthew,

my guess is that it's the plastic trimmers in the LO chain. I had that
problem and replaced them with ceramic parts to fix it. This is a well known
problem at ICOM, I recommend that u purchase the parts from them as the leads
on the over the counter parts are a little short - but u can solder them.
