Hi Mathew
Why not try asking "the local radio tech ", one could presume that he looked
at it, discovered the problem and went looking for the parts to fix, only to
find out none were available.  He should be able to tell you first hand,
what the problem is, that way you know exactly what parts to look for.

Hi All

I have an Ic-471h 440 all mode. When I first turn the radio on it gives
close to full output power but in a few minitues it drops to nothing. I
carried it to a local radio tech and he said the parts are no longer
avalable. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be and were to
get some parts?
