I have an ICOM handheld, IC-24AT that found its way from the door storage in
my car to the pavement breaking off the front lip of the battery slot. I
know this is a very old radio (13+ years) but it still works great and does
everything I need. The questions to the reflector are:
Does ICOM stock the front cover for a radio this age?
Anyone out there with a IC-24AT that has expired but has a good front cover?
Has anyone ever changed this front cover and what is the level of difficulty?
Would my best bet be retirement of this radio?
Yes, I have considered holding it together with duct tape, its just not my
first choice ;-))
Thanks in advance for your advise 8-)
