Hi Gary,
Not sure about the matching network but I bought an LDG auto tuner from
Ten-Tec (because of the 30 day return policy). It sounded like an AK 47
shooting. The noise from the stepper relays are a joke.
I was using it in the radio room next to the main bedroom and it would wake
my wife up when it tuned. So I sent it back to them.
It did however, take 33 days and 4 phone calls to get the $$$ refunded to
my CC.
I have the AT 180 on my Mark IIG and it is great.....

I am looking for a review of the Icom AT-180.
In partcular, what kind of matching network
it uses, and how it compares to the LDG AT-11MP.
Will be used with a 706MK2G.
