[Icom] Broken Front Case on IC-24AT, questions

I feel sure Icom would have a replacement for your rig. As far as difficulty
I would say it is a matter of being careful. Spread out a large white
terrycloth bath towell on the kitchen table and have good light and you
should be ok. The towell is to catch loose screws. Watch out for the ribbon
cables and dont force anything. Allow time to do the work and don't be in a
hurry. A small tip soldering iron will be needed as I think the speaker
leads are soldered to the board on this front.Small jewlers screwdrivers are
necessary. Look carefully at the lcd before you remove the board from the
front as it will likely slip out of place, but its no big deal, if you get
it upside down the worst thing is you will have to disassemble it again.
