It might have been interesting to use a spectrum analyser or even a
scanning receiver to figure on what frequency were those 110 watts were
and also the nature of the signal (pure CW or hiss or rough tone).  The
fact that the tuner couldn't match it suggests that it may not have been
anywhere near to 6m.  I'd say the tuner's difficulty was more likely to =
be
a result of the fault rather than the cause of the trouble.
