[Icom] 756proII tuner

Have a new 756pproII, went to use on 6 meters- tuner would not match to antenna. Pulled ant and put on dummy load..same problem
checked ant with mfj anz. all ok 1.2 swr. shut tuner off and keyed radio into the dummy load..on ssb.. 50.125... the radio went to full output as soon as I hit the ptt button,did this in all modes ... hit ptt  and get full 110 watts out as though you were in fm. I reset the CPU TWICE ...no help. This only happens on 6 meters ,HF IS FINE.
 I figured it had to be in the tuner curcuit where else would the radio get the tone to modulate the carrier?
 called Icom ,they said ...never heard of such a thing happening!
 Any way it went back to Icom today. HAS ANYONE ELSE ever had a simular problem and if so what was the cure .
