I had a similar problem with a new proII, HF worked fine but the rig had
a fit on 6m.. Turned out I had forgotten about the low pass filter with
a 30mhz cutoff that was hiding behind the desk. Removed the filter and
everything worked fine except for the bright red glow in the facial
area. Hope this wasn't your problem.
