[Icom] 756pro split problem

Hi Icomers.

Wonder if anyone has had this problem with the 756 pro. This just happened
after 2 years of trouble free operation.

PROBLEM:
I enter split mode (HOLD SPLIT BUTTON TILL BOTH FREQ. ARE EQUAL) Then tune
the xmit (lower) freq. Now, I hit the MAIN/SUB button to go back to
recevive on top freq and xmit on bottom. It will NOT GO BACK to the top
freq. but VFO remains in the TX mode on the lower freq. The VFO remains on
the lower TX freq.

 If I get out of SPLIT, it will transceive ok on top VFO. All settings
appear to be normal as per default etc.

Any suggestions?
