Not with an HM-1 but I have the same ground loop problem with an MFJ 1278B
TNC and 775 DSP. I have enough torroid and ferrite material on this set up
to sink a good size boat and still get 60Hz hum on the transmit side. If
there is a fix for the mike it might help my TNC configuration.
