Hi Dan=0D
=0D
I read your post about the hum when using=0D
the tnc, and was wondering how you are=0D
powering the tnc. My packet elmer said=0D
"never use one of those "wall warts", always=0D
get the power to the tnc from a power supply.=0D
Not sure what your situation is, but just a=0D
thought I would pass along.=0D

Not with an HM-1 but I have the same ground loop problem with an MFJ 1278=
B=0D
TNC and 775 DSP. I have enough torroid and ferrite material on this set u=
p=0D
to sink a good size boat and still get 60Hz hum on the transmit side. If=0D
there is a fix for the mike it might help my TNC configuration.=0D
