[Icom] Icom 746 filters

 Hi 
   I need some help on selecting some filters for the 746. since we have 2 slots at 9mhz and 1 at 455, out of the filter offering from icom, what would be the most effective picks. I do not plan to use the rig on CW, only ssb and am once in a while. I looked at the filter slopes on another web site, was not very informative. I guess I would like real world info and since the price of icom or inrad is a lot, want to try to avoid making bad selections.
  Any help would be appreciated.
