Yes this is easy test.. when I used the remote head, I had problems with feedback,
the display would blink, change bands, and sometimes the rig would completely shut
off.   With the head attached, there was no problem at all.   However, I did have
to go the torroid route and used 2 of the snap-ons that I bought at Radio
Shack.    That cleared up my problems.
