[Icom] Noise With 706MKIIG in 2001 Toyota Tacoma

Doug,

Lots of good ideas so far but first try a simple experiment.
Disconnect the front panel extension cable at both the radio
and the front panel.  Plug the front panel back onto the
radio temporarily.  Make absolutely no other changes.  Does
the problem still exist or is it totally cleared up.  Let us
know.  This test is much more conclusive than buying toroids
etc.
