[Icom] Noise With 706MKIIG in 2001 Toyota Tacoma

All these ideas are good but if you can try to substitute the remote
cable with one of someone elses that will tell you a lot as this seems
to be the problem. Also look for bad contacts on the cable or debris in
or on the connector. Also does it change when you move the cable to a
different location in the truck or wiggle the cord? I seriously doubt if
adding beads will help at this point as the motor is not even on. Maybe
when you get it working and start transmitting you will need them but
you should take first things first. Fix the receive then take the rest
