If you do decide on the FT100 make sure you get the FT100D and a late serial
number at that. There were problems with the FT100 & FT100D and only
recently the updates are on the Yaesu assembly line (grounding, IMD, & heat
issues). The AM works better on the FT100D otherwise I understand it
becomes user preferences on which rig
is better.
