Well, thanks very much, Andy - first for putting me in the same group as
Adam and for the projected dinner. Two reasons for me to be very pleased!
I would greatly enjoy meeting you and the other Icom crew around here, but
most of all I would enjoy meeting Adam! We have emailed for a couple of
years now, but so far have never met in person or worked on the air.
So, please keep me posted on any upcoming plans.
That $8K is probably right in the ballpark but it is going to be hard for
many of us to buy a seat at that price. Surely the new rig is designed
around military specs and requirements to account for such a wide frequency
range - and price. It will be interesting and instructive to see what
TenTec comes out with then their new Orion is released this summer.
