Thanks for the info. I think I was a little hard on the reviewer because he
may well have been giving his honest opinions. I still consider you and Adam
Farson--and a select few others--to be the Icom "guru's". Sandy Sandberg,
N5NBW, has been in contact with Adam off list and learned that Adam gets to
Dallas from time to time. Sandy and I (and some other locals) would love to
take you and Adam out to dinner for a good ICOM "brainpick" next time Adam
is in Dallas. BTW, rumor has it an $8,000 plus 781 replacement is nearing
completion and announcement with transceive capability up into the gighertz
range--the Pro may at last have some competition! :-)
