[Icom] AT-180 Tuner and MARS Freqs

Has anyone else used an ICOM AT-180 on MARS freq's and found that, no 
what length at antenna is, the AT-180 has some places where is just DOES 
NOT want to live?

I started with a trapped 80 Mtr Vee and it didn't like that, so I 
attempted to tune the trapped vee to the MARS freq and still no soap. I 
can tune below where I need to be, but it seems that the AT-180 just 
does not like to be out of band.

Wide open to suggestions.
