James,
Before you reset everything check the Molex plug and your connections.
This is a small chance but worth a follow up before a reset.
The next thing to try is the full reset and you will lose all of your
programming but could save the repair cost and loss of the radio for the
time it would take to ship it and get it back.

-New Ham here and have run into a problem with my ICOM 706 MK ii which
I am hoping this esteemed group can advise on. I have lost all
indication of 
outpower. Meter indicated zero. Running mobile and was working fine and 
switched bands and was adjusting swr on screwdriver and then nothing.
Works 
fine on 2 meters, just no hf. Are the finals fried. I did tune using
tenna 
tuner so output was on l0 watts approx during tune process. Guess its
off to 
the shop. Appreciate any input and have enjoyed this group tremendously.
