My 2 cents on this subject
I use a radio shack 4 pole double throw relay.
I use a foot switch to operate the relay.
Also the computer interface operates the relay.
The 4 poles of the relay do different things in the shack.
1 pole switches the IC756pro2 into transmit
2 pole turns on the Ten Tec amp.
3 pole turns on the Henry amp when I am using that amp.
4 pole is open at this time.
I keep the 756pro2 in breakin off so i have to use the foot switch when I
want to use the either of the amps.
If I want to run bare foot then I can switch the Icom into breakin mode and
run that way.
To run either of the amps I have to use the foot switch.
Cheap and easy and fool proof.
I really need the fool proof part HiHi.
