Or better yet, just order Bob Heil's new dual footswitch and you don't have
to worry about cables, relays etc amp between your radio and amp and you
don;t have to worry about welding relays together. The FS-2 footswitch goes
for about 39.95 and solves the problem easy by having two cables, one to the
amp and one to the radio and when your foot presses the footswitch, it keys
the amp a split millisecond before the radio and works great. If you use the
W2IHY EQ and noise gate you can have two radios hooked up to the same amp
and switch back and forth based on a simple selector switch on the EQ and
noise gate. It works great and solved my relay worries and two radio
problems with the same amp and eliminated a lot of extra cables and external
boxes. My two cents worth, 73, Steve
