[Icom] IC 706 MK II 2 Meter power setting

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could confirm what HRO told me today?  I have
a Mirage B2516 G 2 meter amp and the max drive power that it can
tolerate is 25 watts and HRO told me that I could go into the setup menu
and just reduce the 2 meter power level.  Has anyone run across this
issue yet and what do you recommend?  I want to set up the 706 and the
Mirage amp in my car and run some some SSB with my M2 SSB loop antenna.
