[Icom] Removing Icom 765 plastic dial window?

Thanks for the info. I polished the outside of the dial window, and used a
polish marketed by Mother's for polishing aluminum and magnesium auto
wheels. It makes a great plastic polish. I'll have to remove the panel
again and give it another go after heating the strip a bit. I can
appreciate the difficulty you described in getting the front panel back on.
For a while there, I was afraid that I might NEVER get it on again. Then it
just slipped into place.
