[Henry] Henry 2K Classic X Question

Probably not. The Classic X and most Henry amps just need a open close
relay circuit. I use two different Yaesus and an old Icom to drive my very
old Henry 2 K. We use the 3K and 3KA at a contest multi op with the
Ft1000MP with no problem and I remember in the late 70's I used a ten Tec
540 with a Henry 3K at N4RJ. K4DLI has a FT1000D that works well with Amp
Supply LK800. I think only the FT 1 and FT 980 and the later FT757
sometimes required a relay box (especially with QSK). Hope fully Yaesu has
gotten past this problem!

Hi,

I am in the process of acquiring a 2K Classic X for the shack. I plan on
driving it with my Yaesu FT-1000D. My question is simply this - Do I need
an external relay or will the Classic play nicely with my FT-1000D.

Thanks for any help.
