Hi Bill,

1000D has a relay to switch the amp and will work just fine.
The 2K Classic X is a fine amp with a strong power supply and uses
inexpensive tuber (pair 3-500).

Enjoy!

Subject: [Henry] Henry 2K Classic X Question

Hi,

I am in the process of acquiring a 2K Classic X for the shack. I plan on
driving it with my Yaesu FT-1000D. My question is simply this - Do I need
an external relay or will the Classic play nicely with my FT-1000D.

Thanks for any help.
